A painter, illustrator and creator of animations. She has been living in Valencia, Spain, for 8 years. Her artistic career started in 1999 in The Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, Poland, where she started to study painting. Since her childhood she has been taking part in many artistic projects in her home town and later in many other places such as Altzella, Germany and Budapest, Hungary, where she presented her works in various galleries together with other artists. In 2002 she came to Spain to finish her studies at the Universidad Politécnica in Valencia. She graduated from the Fine Arts Academy and she began to specialize in the area of Animation, Art and Industry. A short animation King Popiel is related to this last discipline and it has been selected for many international festivals e.g. Animadrid, Holland Animation Festival or Anifest India. The animation has had a great reception among spectators and critics. During the following years she participated as a painter in individual and collective exhibitions in Poland, Germany, the United States and Spain. In 2007 she organized in Valencia an artistic space called Espacio Santisimo where young, fledgling artists have a chance to present their work.Currently Ewa Okolowicz lives and works in Valencia. She is dedicated to painting, illustration, creation of animations. She collaborates with Estudio de Diseño Gráfico Espirelius, Galería Color Elefante, Academia Valenciana de la Llengua (for which she designs book covers) as well as with others publishing houses and 100.cities.initiative.org.

Pintora, ilustradora y creadora de vídeos de animación, Ewa Okolowicz lleva instalada en la ciudad de Valencia desde hace ocho años. Su trayectoria artística se inicia en la Academia de Bellas Artes de Cracovia, donde empieza sus estudios de pintura en 1999. Desde muy joven participa en diversos proyectos artísticos de su ciudad y se involucra en otros que desarrolla en Altzella (Alemania) o Budapest (Hungría), donde expone sus trabajos en diversas galerías junto a otros artistas. En 2002 viaja a España donde prosigue sus estudios en la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia y se licencia en Bellas Artes. Posteriormente se especializa en el área de Animación, Arte e Industria. Dentro de esta última disciplina, realiza en 2004 el corto animado Rey Popiel, que es seleccionado para exhibirse en diversos festivales internacionales, como Animadrid, Holland Animation Festival o Anifest India, y obtiene muy buena acogida entre el público y la crítica. En los siguientes años y en su faceta de pintora, participa en exposiciones colectivas e individuales en Polonia, Alemania, Estados Unidos y España. En 2007 organiza el espacio de arte Espacio Santisimo para dar a conocer a los artistas emergentes en Valencia.

En la actualidad, Ewa Okolowicz vive y trabaja como artista en Valencia. Se dedica a la pintura, la ilustración, la realización de dibujos animados, y colabora

con el Estudio Espirelius, Galería Color Elefante, Academia Valenciana de la Llengua, Academia de Arte y Diseño Barreira, Proyecto Via Verde de Valencia, Desayuno con Viandantes, campañas para World Urban Campaign, ádemas de numerosos proyectos particulares.
